Biography
Currently, I'm a fourth year student in the Clinical Psychology Psy.D. program at La Salle University. I am a member of La Salle's Mindfulness Research team and I have participated in research examining mindfulness and various constructs such as anger and self-criticism. I am also interested in specializing in neuropsychology and recently co-founded a student chapter of the Association of Neuropsychology Students in Training (ANST) at La Salle. My interests include incorporating mindfulness practices and training into my work with individuals with traumatic brain injuries.
Projects that Marianne has supported
Psychological testing is dominated by expensive proprietary tests that have for the most part been developed using public research money. The licensing costs associated with testing makes access difficult or expensive and prevents access to useful testing where funding is limited or unavailable. Improving accessibility will have a substantial impact on the quality of both new research and current mental health care.
