Development of a Four Wheel Steering System for a Formula-SAE Collegiate Design Competition Race Car
The Michigan Tech Formula team is seeking a top ten place finish in SAE competitions, something that has not been achieved since 1999. Four wheel steering is a possible system allowed by competition rules. This technology is new to the team, and further development will help the car achieve faster lap times for dynamic events by increasing overall handling performance.
Gifts to projects listed on SUPERIORIDEAS.ORG are received and processed by Michigan Tech Fund. Michigan Tech Fund is a tax-exempt organization under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code acting on behalf of Michigan Technological University. It is the policy of Michigan Tech Fund that a portion of the gifts and/or income therefrom may be used to defray the costs of raising and administering the funds.
